ANNOUNCEMENTS
This summer, teams will have the opportunity to participate in organized play from June 13-July 21. The league is called "Ladies Summer Day League"! Below are all the specifics...
-League Dates: June 13th-July 21st
-League Fee: $25.00
-MUST have a minimum of 6 players; play 3 courts per week.
-Teams register on Tennislink @ https://tennislink.usta.come/Leagues
-Schedules will be posted on Tennislink.
-Doubles Format: this is not a combo league; any combo of NTRP ratings can be played.
-USTA membership is NOT required.
-Days of Play: Tues-JLTA Platinum/Gold; Wed-JLTA White/Bronze; Thur-JLTA Red/Blue; Fri-JLTA Yellow
-Match times are 9:00am and 10:30am

In case you missed it at the Fall Captains meeting, we've tweaked our rules about tennis balls and when doubles-only players should arrive. Please see the updated rule language below. And reach out to a color secretary or the disciplinarian if you have any questions!
10. Tennis balls:
A. Home teams must furnish 4 cans of new USTA-approved tennis balls.
15. Match play and scoring:
B. Singles matches will be played first and in order, starting with # 1 thru # 4. Violation results in a forfeit and a deduction of any points earned on the matches played out of order.
C. Doubles will follow as players and courts are available. But doubles-only players are not required to be at the match facility until 9:30 am.
17. Forfeits:
E. 15 Minute Forfeit Rule:
1. Players have 15 minutes to begin play when a court becomes available. Players who are playing doubles only do not have to arrive before 9:30 am. So, in the event a court becomes available for doubles before 9:30 am, the 15 minutes to begin play will not start until 9:30 am for a doubles-only player.
2. A player may be forfeited only if her captain is notified, a court has been available 15 minutes, and her opponent is present and ready to play.
IMPORTANT DATES
Spring 2023
Yellow begins on February 10th.
All other colors begins week of Feb 13th.
Spring Break Mar 10-Mar17, no play.
Easter Break April 7th, no play.
Wrap up play week of April 24th.
